Mineral-rich ferrous elements combined with limestone and clay. Rocky terrain from degradation of the parent bedrock.

Vinification and aging:
Harvest was done by hand and the grapes were selected with great care in the vineyard. The clusters were destemmed and the grapes fermented in stainless steel tanks with temperature control at 26ºC for 15 days with selected yeasts. Post-fermentation maceration lasted 7 days (22 days of maceration in total) for greater extraction of color and tannins
The wine underwent malolactic fermentation in 500-liter and 225-liter French oak barrels for better integration of the oak.
Barrel-aging for 18 months in 65% French / 35% American oak. 25% of the barrels were new oak to increase aromatic complexity and texture in the wine.
Tasting notes:
Complex aromas of black cherry and currant, with notes of black pepper, coffee beans, nutmeg, Indian spices and vanilla.
Deep and concentrated on the palate, this wine shows great delicacy and freshness.
